Another week has passed in Tech in Asia and below is the list of startups which we have covered. Besides covering startups this week, we have also exposed the Red Herring Awards scam which I encourage entrepreneurs to have read.

1. DapurMasak | Indonesia
DapurMasak, a social cooking network, is the winner of the Indonesia’s ICT Awards 2012 brand new startup category award beating off seven startup finalists: Tiket, Rockto, Yotomo, Fokado, Tutor, Tanah Air, and Pointer Micro Systems.
2. Enhance.cn | China
China-based startup Enhance.cn wants to help Chinese students by offering online test prep services including the GMAT, GRE, SAT, and TOEFL.
3. Meetrip | Japan
Meetrip is a smartphone app that connects local users (or guides) with travelers. After signing up using Facebook credentials, local guides can quickly and easily create their own tour plans. For example, a three-hour tour to explore an old town not known to tourists, or a long lunch hour to enjoy the best hot noodles in town.
4. Faunia Rancher | Indonesia
This is not an ordinary ranch. Faunia Rancher is a game that’ll take you on a journey full of fairies and monsters. But the gremlins are actually cute. You can even meet an Indonesian monster called Barong in its traditional Balinese house.
5. Artiste Connect | Philippines
Passion, passion, passion. We all have passions and a dream to make it big, but sometimes we don’t know which way is up — and well, we don’t know where to get the funds.Thankfully, in the Philippines there’s a site called ArtisteConnect.com, a crowdfunding service that can help artists and creatives to launch their projects.
6. Sourcebits | India
If you like Metal Slug then you probably like this game — Apocalypse Max: Better Dead Than Undead. It was designed and developed by Sourcebits, a Sequoia backed startup based in Bangalore, India.
7. Sold.sg | Singapore
Singapore’s Sold.sg started as a penny auction site which saw it gain traction and raise almost S$1 million (US$817,000) last year. Today, the startups claims to hit about S$2 million ($1.6 million) in revenue and is looking to raise Series A to further its expansion.
