Weather forecast for the Asia-Pacific region

China will see another wet day on Tuesday as a low pressure system continues to develop. Scattered showers are likely over most of eastern and central China, with the possibility of thunderstorms in the east. Shanghai can expect highs in the lower 40s F (around 5 C). Beijing will benefit from mostly sunny skies, with similar highs near 40 F (4 C).

Hong Kong will have a few lingering clouds and highs reaching into the upper 70s F (mid-20s C).

Meanwhile, a low pressure front will hover over southern and western Japan. Tokyo will see scattered showers with highs near 60 F (16 C). Seoul will be drier with a few clouds and highs in the mid-40s F (6 C).

Mild weather is anticipated over most of Australia as high pressure builds over the south and an area of low pressure moves into the north. Scattered showers may appear in the east. Sydney is expected to see rain throughout the day, with highs near 80 F (26 C).
