    B-Meg Seeks 3rd Straight Win

Games Sunday (Ynares Sports Center, Antipolo City)

    4:15 p.m. - Barako Bull vs Air21

    6:30 p.m. - Petron vs B-Meg

MANILA, Philippines - B-Meg coach Tim Cone is happy the Llamados won their first two games in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

But Cone expects rough sailing in their next two games -- first against Petron Blaze.

With Petron dropping its first two games, Cone believes the Boosters will throw everything to stop their run whey they clash today at 6:30 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.

"We expect a tough game," said Cone. "They (Boosters) lost their first two and surely, they're aching for a win. They're always a dangerous team."

"It's a sprint, with 10 teams playing nine games in a single round robin. So we'll just try to get as many wins," said Cone.

Barako Bull (1-1) collides with debuting Air21 (formerly Shopinas.com) at 4:15 p.m., with naturalized Filipino and former Smart-Gilas member Marcus Douthit leading the Express.

The Energy split their first two games, losing last Wednesday to the Llamados, 88-86.

Meralco is B-Meg's other victim (96-93).

After Petron, B-Meg battles defending champion and Philippine Cup titlist Talk 'N Text on Feb. 29.

"If we can split these games, we'll be fine. That will set us up for our remaining five games this conference. It's good that we won the first two, including the last one, which took some pressure off to our team," said Cone.

Petron, semifinalist in the previous all-Filipino conference, has lost its first two games, first against Barangay Ginebra (84-82) on a last second shot by Jayjay Helterbrand, and then to Meralco (105-83).

At 0-2, the Boosters are currently at the bottom of the standings with Rain or Shine, which dropped its second game after blowing a 17-point lead in a 122-120 defeat to AFC finalist Powerade Friday night.

TNT, which edged Powerade during the Philippine Cup finals, opened its title-retention bid with a 102-96 win over Meralco also Friday night.

TNT import Omra Samhan led the Tropang Texters with 24 points, 20 rebounds and four shot blocks.
