The biggest online treasure hunt in the Philippines ended with a bang—and a purple car to go with it.

Last April 17, Yahoo! Philippines held the culminating activity of the Yahoo! Purple Hunt 2.0 in Trinoma Mall, Quezon City. It capped off  the six-week online treasure hunt, where Yahoo! users surfed the Net for clues to win prizes and get a shot at driving home the top prize—the purple Hyundai i10.

Yahoo! Philippines Country Ambassador Arlene Amarante said, "We just wanted to bring back the most popular online game in the country. That's the Yahoo! Purple Hunt."

Amarante added that the second Yahoo! Purple Hunt is different from its first installment because people from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao were given a chance to win the grand prize.

In the end, Yahoo! user Andrew Catacutan from Malabon took home the purple car. He said, "Thank you Yahoo! for making this event and I will surely support the next Yahoo! Purple Hunt."
