Are you hooked to your smartphone?

Petaling Jaya (The Star/ANN) - Like many mobile web users worldwide, Malaysians have become inseparable from their smartphones.

We chat, surf the net, check stocks, pay our bills, catch up on the latest news, watch YouTube, update our Facebook posts and play games on the palm held device, something we would never have imagined a decade ago.

But are we getting too dependent on our smartphones?

According to Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister Datuk Heng Seai Kie, the smartphone is a valuable tool of communication, but over-dependence can have a negative impact.
