HTC (TPE:2498.TW - News) unveiled its very sexy - and rather Lumia-esque - new Windows Phones earlier this week, the 8S and the 8X (pictured). Both models are going to be pushed aggressively in China, taking the WP8-powered phones onto all three telcos in the country: China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom (in descending order of 3G subscribers). That has been confirmed by HTC to local blog WPDang.
There’s no set launch date or price, but they’ll make a nice complement to Nokia’s revamped Lumia models for Chinese geeks who want to take the WP route rather than Android or iOS.
