As advance tickets go on sale February 22, it was announced that the stars of The Hunger Games will make appearances during an eight-city tour to shopping malls across the US in March to meet teen fans.

Similar to Twilight Saga events, Josh Hutcherson (Journey 2), Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class), Liam Hemsworth (The Expendables 2), and other cast members from the much-anticipated sci-fi thriller will participate in Q&As at various locations.
Fans of the next teen franchise, based on the young adult novel series by Suzanne Collins, will get a chance to meet the stars and win premiere tickets as well as Hunger Games apparel and paraphernalia.
The story follows Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, in a dystopian world in the future, who are forced to enter an annual fight-to-the-death competition on live television between teenagers from 12 districts.
The tour starts March 3 at the Westfield Century City in Los Angeles with stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, then the Mall Of America in Minneapolis, and ending March 10 at University Village in Seattle.
Directed by Gary Ross (Seabiscuit), the cast also includes Elizabeth Banks (W.), Woody Harrelson (2012) and Lenny Kravitz (Precious).
The Hunger Games opens on March 21-23 worldwide and follows in Vietnam (March 30), South Africa (April 13), Spain (April 20) and Italy (May 1).
