Taipei (The China Post/ANN) - The jackpot of the Big Lotto is going to hit NT$850 million (US$28.3 million) because there has been no winner of the first prize of the Big Lotto for five consecutive times.
During the Chinese New Year, the jackpot of Big Lotto hit more than NT$900 million (US$30 million) because there had been no winner of the biggest prize for eight times. This created a craze of buying Big Lotto during the period. Finally, three people won the first prize and shared the money.
The winning number of the Big Lotto is going to be drawn tonight. If all the money of the jackpot is going to one person, he or she can get NT$850 million alone, which is the highest amount of money in five years, second only to a prize of 935 million on June, 9th, 2009.
Taiwan Lottery is going to launch three new games the day after tomorrow- Wan Wan Coming, Golden Legend, Surplus Every Year. The Golden Legend is going to be sold for NT$200 with more than 30-percent chance of winning a prize.
