Nicole Scherzinger: I still love Lewis

Nicole Scherzinger “still loves” her ex-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

The raven-haired beauty and the Formula One racing driver split in October due to their conflicting work schedules. The pair had been in a relationship on-and-off for four years.

There have been reports since their break-up that both parties are eager to reunite, and now Nicole has declared her love for her former beau.

“I still love him,” she admitted to British newspaper The Mirror.

“It’s all very recent. And it’s hard for me to talk about it. But we are good friends. We’re great friends.”

Despite plans for a reconciliation, Nicole knows that won’t be possible at the moment. The songstress wants Lewis to concentrate on his racing career while she thinks about her music plans post The X Factor.

“Right now, he’s got to focus on his career and I’ve got to focus on mine,” she said.

Since splitting from Lewis, Nicole has been linked to a string of men including professional dancer Derek Hough, rapper Drake and US X Factor host Steve Jones.

There have been reports Steve will be axed from the TV talent show next series, and the Welsh star recently responded to such rumours.

"If I ever leave X Factor, Scherzinger's phone will be smoking hot from me ringing it constantly 'cause if we're not colleagues - oh, she's fair game. Oh yeah!" he exclaimed in an interview with Access Hollywood.
