The policeman reported that the incident happened at 8:45 p.m. inside their house.
He said his four-year-old son apparently got his .22-caliber pistol from inside his bag, played with it, and accidentally shot the victim.
The bullet entered the toddler's left cheek and exited in the back of the head. He did not make it to the Lorma Hospital alive.
