Remote Play, a new PlayStation feature enabling gamers to play remotely on their PS3 via their handheld Vita, is now available for titles of the God of War Collection and the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus bundle.
You'll need both a PS3 and a PS Vita (as well the aforementioned titles) to try out the new feature (available as of Wednesday, September 5), according to the PlayStation blog.
Remote Play could free up the TV screen for other people in the gamer's entourage, with the home console running the PS3 title played on the handheld.
PlayStation users need to download a free patch on their home console and stay close enough to their Wi-Fi spot to enjoy the new feature.
The PlayStation blog adds that the L2 and R2 triggers on the PS3 controller are replaced by the touchpad at the back of the handheld console.
