Vietnam to borrow $1 bln from W.Bank - paper

HANOI, Oct 21 - Vietnam plans to borrow $1 billion from the World Bank to boost the supply of foreign exchange, half of which would be disbursed this year, a state-run newspaper quoted the central bank governor on Wednesday as saying.

There was no immediate comment from the World Bank's office in Hanoi.
