India cbank loans to govt nil in wk to June 26

MUMBAI, July 3 - India's federal government did not have any outstanding loans with the central bank in the week ended June 26, the Reserve Bank of India said in its weekly statistical supplement on Friday.

There were no loans outstanding in the previous week.

State governments also did not have any loans outstanding from central bank in the week to June 26, but had borrowed 2.12 billion rupees in the previous week, the supplement showed.
