U.S. dlr edges higher vs euro after sentiment data

NEW YORK, Nov 13 - The dollar edged higher against the euro on Friday after data showed U.S. consumer sentiment fell in early November to the weakest in three months.

The unexpectedly weak number dented risk appetite and boosted safe-haven demand for the greenback.

The euro last traded at $1.4830 <EUR=>, down 0.1 percent on the day, compared with $1.4845 before the data.
