India's L&T says order inflow up 47 pct in Q2

MUMBAI, Oct 22 - India's Larsen & Toubro Ltd <LART.BO> said on Thursday order inflow grew 47 percent in the September quarter, with the largest engineering and construction division itself reporting fresh orders of 170 billion rupees.

Operating margins in that division stood at 11.3 percent.

The company said its total order backlog currently stands at 816.23 billion rupees.
