MUMBAI, Nov 4 - Indian shares closed 3.4 percent higher on Wednesday, helped by a rise in global equities, after falling 8.4 percent over the previous six sessions.
The 30-share BSE index <.BSESN> provisionally ended at 15,928.08.
The 50-share NSE index <.NSEI> provisionally closed up 3.35 percent at 4,716.85 points.
