MANILA, Philippines - You could say Mara Reyes loves sneakers more than the usual heels. Aside from the fact that it really is more comfortable, she says the confidence a pair of sneakers gives her in every step is incomparable. "All the girls look the same nowadays, and what makes me stand out from the generic f21/lookbook-look are my shoes," says the feisty fashionista, who simply just not buys a sneaker to look cool, but makes it a point to know the history behind every pair. And, despite the number of sneakers this woman has in her rack, she assures her collection will just keep on growing: "Until I'm hustling, I will keep rewarding myself with a pair for my hard work." Fair enough.

1 Air Jordan 3 Black Cements.

"Black and cements-that is what makes it number one!"

2 Air Jordan 11 Concords.

"My boyfriend got me into this shoe. He was so into it and we'd talk about it, I'd always say it's one of the hardest shoes that I could ever rock since it's hard to match it with clothes. It's one of those Jordans that is only nice to rock when you really do play basketball. But. after the release, when I saw it at Limited Edt Vault in Singapore, I tried it on out of curiosity, checked it out in the mirror and said "Yep, sold." Supposedly, I was only getting a pair for my daughter, but ended up buying two pairs."

3 Air Jordan 6 Oreos.

"Reminds me so much of Oreo Eating Storm Troopers. I want to eat it."

4 Jeremy Scott x Adidas Combat boots.

"It's one of my favorite designer collab shoes. I love Jeremy Scott! I like wearing this pair when I'm at work on shoots and we go on locations. The beaded Cross detail of this pair makes it worth the price."

5 Vans sk8-hi Taka Hayashi.

"I have as much Vans as Jordans, I think. But this is the best pair that I got. I like wearing this pair whenever I don't want to look too "street." It got the Neighborhood, Visvim, Japan-feel to it. The details and the packaging made me buy it, too."

"Reebok Pumps Basquiat, the gold and black one and the black and white one. This is the only pair of shoes my major in college (Painting) can have a relation to. Also, A pair that I designed for a certain brand (in my dreams) ,and a pair of the most expensive Alexander McQueen collab sneakers."
