A button-free smartphone with a huge curved glass display
Nokia's N9 is the world's first pure touchscreen phone. There are no front-facing buttons and the user interface is controlled entirely with touches and swipes. It's a stylized, minimalistic device with a unibody design and a beautiful 3.9-inch curved glass display. The N8 successor is Nokia's first MeeGo-powered device and features a gesture-centric user interface. The handset sports an 8 MP camera, NFC connectivity, Dolby Digital Plus sound and free voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation. The N9 is earmarked for a 2011 release but no official date or prices have been announced.

A Smart TV that you can control with your voice or smartphone
Building on the ideas of Smart TVs and ubiquitous computing, Sharp has launched the Aquos L Series 4 internet-ready TV. Sharp's Aquos range connects with a smartphone or tablet to offer voice-controlled TV features and voice recognition. Compatible smartphones and tablets can also be used as a remote for the LCD TV. The built-in Sharp Fami-Link feature lets Aquos L Series owners share music, videos and data between their smartphone or Android tablet and TV. Sharp's Aquos L Series will arrive in Japan in mid-July and will be priced from 220,000 Yen (€1930).

A device that transmits live TV to your gadgets, anywhere in the house
Motorola's Televation is a broadband device that streams live TV to connected devices including tablets, smartphones and displays. Motorola Mobility's Televation works hand in hand with a customer's broadband router and coax outlet to convert live TV to MPEG-4 in real time. The Motorola Televation also augments or reduces the resolution and bit rate of the streamed TV feed to "match the capabilities of the consumer's viewing device while maintaining excellent picture quality." No pricing or release dates have been announced.

World's fastest A4 color desktop printer
A collaboration between high-speed color printing company Memjet and electronics manufacturer LG Electronics has produced the world's fastest A4 color desktop printer, the Machjet LPP6010N. LG claims the new-generation, high-quality printer is able to operate twice as fast as a regular printer while costing around half the price as a traditional office printer to run. The Machjet is capable of outputting a 1600x800 dpi resolution at 60 pages per minute, delivering more than 700 million drops of ink per second on a page. The printer will be available in Korea later this month. Pricing has not been announced.

A camera that fits DSLR features into the form factor 'of a smartphone'
The Lumix GF3 is Panasonic’s smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens system camera yet. The Lumix GF3 follows in the footsteps of its GF2 and GF1 siblings, cramming high-tech features into a compact body. Weighing just 222 grams and measuring 4.24 inches (10.8 cm wide), 2.64 inches (6.7 cm) tall, and 1.28 inches (3.3 cm) deep, the body of the Lumix GF3 is slightly smaller than Sony's diminutive and recently announced Alpha NEX-C3 interchangeable lens camera. It features full-HD 1080/60i video recording, a DSLR-sized 12.1 MP image sensor, a 3" touch-enabled display and touch-controlled menus, a Dust Reduction System, a wide selection of creative effects, and is compatible with Micro Four Thirds System lenses. The GF3 will be available for $699.99 with a 14mm lens kit system in July or for $599.99 with the 14-42mm lens kit system in late August.

Sony's affordable VAIO E Series notebooks are small on price and big on color. The 14, 15.5 and 17.3-inch notebooks come wrapped in bright colors (or the more demure charcoal black and glacier white) and feature bold geometric designs on the lids. The E Series also comes with an edge-to-edge isolated keyboard, a textured, dimpled touchpad and a colorful, fingerprint-resistant palm rest. The VAIO E Series notebooks are priced from $550 and available for pre-order online.
