Its really fun and relaxing to explore the hidden beauty of the Philippines
But if the biggest problems in the country must be fixed then its fun!!!
Just arriving from the airport? I dont think thats fun, Pollution and traffic in Manila? Makes new arrivals and foreigners sick, thats not fun? Go to the islands? thats fun but at the same time you`re worried to be kidnapped!!!

Didn't bother looking at the video. No it's not. Not in a hundred years will the Philippines get its act together.

tourists were still hesitant to visit the Phils.
reasons: harassments of immigration and airport personnel, kidnapping, traffic, pollution, bad road condition, so many beggars, eyesores, arrogant taxi drivers

yung iba own sentiments ang pinagsasabi...answer the question, di yung kung anu-ano pinagsasabi. have we asked yourselves na ba? may nagawa na ba ako para sa bayan ko? or puro lang ako dada? dagdagan din ng disiplina, yun lang naman wala sa mga Filipino eh...

Don't the people at DOT have anything to do? Is their only purpose to defend this slogan? The truth is that a slogan alone has nothing to do with tourism. Every country has one. In the states, every state has one. It is something to print on a T-shirt , nothing more. Do these people actually believe that a person is going to plan a trip to the Philippines based on a slogan? Photos of beautiful places made known to other countries using TV and internet will attract visitors. If the government would work harder to stop petty crimes that occur every day such as the people who snatch wallets and purses form visitors it might help to attract more tourists. Negative news has a way of spreading worldwide all by itself, so most people that visit will check on traveler advisories more than rely on a slogan. There is nothing wrong with the "more fun in the Philippines"slogan, but these people are acting like this is their lifetime contribution to tourism. I wish different government departments would work together in a more productive way. ie: DOT complain to law enforcement saying that the crimes on the streets are making their job hard. There is so much beauty to promote here, yet what makes the news is almost always bad. People do not pay any attention to cute little slogans. It really could be almost anything and have the same results. This continuing attention of justifying this slogan looks like some people really have nothing else to contribute to jusify their job.

It's not yet time to say that "it's more fun in the Philippines" too many problems to solve, more improvement, more discipline, more effort to achieve that slogan...

just sitting on my balcony on Boracay..not one cloud in the sky, perfect cool breeze and yet Pagasa is telling the world "The whole country will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies except for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over Mindanao" - why is pagasa soo wrong every time, tourists are not coming as the weather is always "cloudy" or "thunderstormy", Russians and Koreans want tropical sun at this time of the year!! come on pagasa, sort it out!!

Talagang "More Fun in the Philippines" mantakin mo mayroon palang Casinong itatayo at ang operator pala nito ay isang Hapon (Japanese).

Is the slogan, "it's more fun in the philippines" similar to "it's funnier in the philippines". If so, we can re-phrase the controversial slogan. Can you please help me see the difference?
