Of course you know your birth day, but have you ever wondered when you were conceived? Well, you might as well start counting.
If you're a November baby, chances are you are among the products of the "love month" bliss, the head of the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) said.
November--nine months after February--has been ranked as the month with the third highest number of live births in the Philippines, as of latest data.
A total of 153,268 Pinoy babies were born in November 2010, NSCB Secretary-General Jose Ramon Albert said in his latest online analysis.
"If a baby is born in November, this would mean that the baby was very likely conceived during the Love Month!" Albert noted.
The November figures were topped only by the month of September with 173,063 births recorded and October with 165,797 births.
"This means that the baby was possibly conceived in December (or January) of the previous (or same) year," Albert said.
The NSCB chief meanwhile pointed to earlier data which showed that December posted the highest number of registered marriages.
"Kung may love month babies, may mga honeymoon babies din!" Albert said, referring to the title of an analysis made by his predecessor in the NSCB Romulo Virola.
Insterestingly, February and November also had the highest hotel occupancy rates from 2010 to 2011, Albert said.
Hotel occupancy rate in February is at least 57 percent in all types of hotel in during the period, but deluxe hotels posted occupancy rates as high as 81.4 percent.
"It is probably safe to assume that February figures are partly due to the celebration for Valentine's Day and perhaps even on account of the Chinese New Year," Albert said.
