19 Cebu grads topped November 2022 Nursing Board exams

NINETEEN graduates of four Cebu-based universities and colleges topped the recently concluded Nursing Licensure Examinations (NLE) on November 12, 2022 and Nov. 13.

Adrian Miguel Amil and Antonette Feliz Calimot of the Cebu Normal University (CNU) both led the pack of successful nursing examinees from Cebu by placing third in the November 2022 NLE with an overall rating of 89.60 percent.

Fellow CNU graduates Drocas Milcah Albores and Kathleen Ry Flores; Lizalyn Joy Angeles Julio of the Cebu Institute of Technology University and Shania Antipuesto Omega of the University of Cebu-Banilad campus (UC Banilad) placed fourth in the exams.

Rochine Claire Vano Cagasan and Maraiah Cabahug of the Cebu Doctors University (CDU) both placed fifth while Cayci Ronneth Cabillon Requiroso of CNU ranked seventh in the exams.

Phoebe Joy Menguito Dingcong of the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC)'s College of Nursing, Ryale Ellaine Barcenas Esmero of CNU, John Lloy Dayanan Genelsa of CDU, Jann Louie Chua Hu Lamban of UC Banilad, and Karylle Nicole Veloso Teo of CDU took eighth place.

Finally, Carmela Ysatam Bihag of CCMC, Catherine Joy Solano Chua and Benz Jim Timbal Gragasin of CDU and Kathleen Bucsit Labadan and Eloisa Mae Abarquez Rabanes of CNU got 10th place.

In a statement, the Professional Regulation Commission said that of the 24,903 examinees who took the exams, 18,529 or 74.40 percent passed.

In terms of performance during the November 2022 NLE, three Cebu schools namely CDU, Velez College and CNU, got a 100 percent passing percentage. (JKV)
