4 hurt in truck-motorcycle collision

AT LEAST four people were hurt when a truck and a motorcycle collided with each other in Barangay Sudlon 2, Cebu City around 5 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Those injured were the driver of the motorcycle and her two backrides.

The fourth one, who was seated on the front seat of the truck that was driven by 39-year-old Reggie Vasquez of Talisay City, was also wounded.

The four victims, aged between 12 and 15 years old, only sustained minor injuries.

Police Major Caesar Acompañado, Police Community Precinct commander of Sudlon 2, said Vasquez was on his way to Toledo City in midwest Cebu when the incident occurred.

Acompañado said the driver of the motorcycle did not have a driver’s license and both of them were not wearing helmets.

The police official said they would summon the owner of the motorcycle to inform him of their violation that resulted to property damage and multiple physical injury.
