5. Home Alone (1999)

Home Alone is a 1999 film directed by Chris Columbus. It is about an eight-year-old boy who was mistakenly left behind, as his family flew to Paris for Christmas vacation. Two burglars, known as the "Wet Bandits," plan to break into vacant houses, but they realized that Kevin was home alone. With Kevin all alone, will he be able to outwit these bandits?

4. Gremlins (1984)

Wondering where the phrase "Don't get wet or you'll become another gremlin" comes from? Well, that came from the popular 1984 movie "Gremlins" that was directed by Joe Dante. It is about a young man who received a strange creature called "mogwai." One of the rules is to never get the mogwai wet or it will produce another small evil creature. Things, however, got messy, as it did get wet.

3. The Christmas Chronicles (2018)

The Christmas Chronicles is a 2018 Netflix original film directed by Clay Kaytis. It is about two children who saw Santa Claus up close. But things went out of control, as the Christmas presents were stolen. What is Christmas without the presents? Would they be able to save Christmas?

2. Rise of the Guardians (2012)

This 2012 American animated film is not your typical holiday movie. This is an action fantasy film that follows the life of a guardian named Jack Frost. His existence was threatened when Pitch Black, also known as the Boogeyman, tried to convince children that Santa Claus, the Tooth fairy, Sandman and Easter Bunny are not real.

1. Klaus (2019)

Klaus is a 2019 Netflix original Spanish-American animated Christmas comedy film directed by Sergio Pablos. The story revolves around a postman who was assigned in a scary town in the North and who needs to deliver 6,000 letters so he can return to his luxurious life. He later befriended an old toymaker named Klaus and started to deliver gifts to children. Will the postman be able to realize the true meaning of Christmas?
