AT LEAST seven individuals found using illegal drugs in a "drug den" were arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) 7 on Thursday, June 24.

Two minors, who were exposed to the illegal activity, were also rescued, Atty, Renan Oliva, NBI 7 director said.

Sachets of drugs and illegal drug paraphernalia were recovered during the operation.

According to Oliva, what was alarming was the presence of the minors in the house used as a drug den by Lisa Mae Rallos, the mother of the two kids.

Oliva said, according to the neighbors, the 2-year-old was made to use drugs just to stop crying and was made to play a tooter, a drug paraphernalia.

The minors are now in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7. Social workers are evaluating the condition of the two minors. (MVG)
