Addison Rae's gender-swapped He's All That came out on Netflix last month, and received a mixed bag of reactions from fans. While some loved it, others were less than impressed - even pointing out an editing error in the film on TikTok.
He's All That is basically a remake of the 1999 movie She's All That, only instead of a guy making over a girl and helping her to become prom queen? Addison plays an influencer who specialises in makeovers, and makes a bet that she can transform an unpopular classmate into a prom king.
In one scene, Addison's character performs Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' in front of a crowd and a beach. Only, er, as one TikTok user spotted, it turns out the beach is very much not real.
"You’re telling me they spent 20 million on this movie and NO ONE saw her arm cut off the green screen 😂😩," the caption read.
Let's take a look at the moment a bit more closely:
The error comes as Netflix revealed Addison Rae has signed a deal for multiple films on the streaming platform. He's All That reached more than 55 million households within the first month of release, reaching number one on the platform in 78 countries.
Netflix's Director of Family Film Naketha Mattocks said of the deal, "Addison Rae's charm and promise is undeniable as evidenced by He's All That and her already passionate fan base. We're thrilled to be part of this next phase of her burgeoning career as an actress."
Plenty more where that came from, basically.
