Food and fashion are having a major love affair right now. From the latest Forever 21 and Cheetos collaboration to BaubleBar's ice cream earrings, wearing your favorite foods has never been so chic. The latest collab, however, might just top them all. This week, Adidas Originals and Arizona Ice Tea are releasing two pairs of sneakers, and the best part—like the tea, they only cost 99 cents.
Each pair of Adidas shoes has its own unique design, but channels Arizona Iced Tea's iconic cans and takes inspiration from the '90s with a chunky rubber sole and bright colors. The Yung 1 features neon yellow, pastel green and pink colors, while the Continental is decorated in a pink and pastel green floral print. Both feature Arizona Iced Tea's "Great Buy! 99¢" on the tongue, which has appeared on its cans since the company launched in 1992.
The shoes will be sold exclusively at a pop-up in New York City (located at 208 Bowery) starting at 11 am on July 18 through July 19. If you don't live in NYC, you can also enter to win a pair of of the sneakers on Instagram.
First, head to Arizona Iced Tea's Instagram account (@drinkarizona) and take a screenshot of this post. Then, share the image on your own, follow Arizona Iced Tea and use the hashtag #adiZona99. Winners will be chosen at random.
