As high-ranking officials draw flak for photos with alleged pork scam brains Janet Napoles, another photo is dragging a Malacanang aide into a different controversy.

A photo netizens claim is of deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte is making rounds online, with some alleging she closed down a Hong Kong store while she shopped.

It has made its way to Facebook, after being posted by Instagram user “awakenedtiger” with the caption “That moment when they close the Celine store for my sissy @queenxtin and I.”

Netizens have linked the photo to the Palace undersecretary. Paul Casas Pollentes asked “Valte?” Thom Garnet Penayes sounded more certain saying “usec. abigail valte.”

The photo comes amid mounting public anger over the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam involving businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles.

The controversy accuses several lawmakers of funneling sums from their discretionary funds to bogus nongovernment organizations, which give them a share of the loot.

Photos of Napoles and her socialite daughter Jeane with top officials have since surfaced, the latest including shots taken with President Benigno Aquino III.

Valte laughed the accusations off, however, noting that the woman in the photo “doesn’t even bear a remote resemblance” of her.

“Hindi ko man lang kamukha,” Valte said via her official Twitter account. “Nice try!” she added.
