Amazon has just unveiled an all-new range of Echo devices, featuring new releases and re-designs, as well as an updated Fire TV Stick. Which is handy really, because the nights are drawing in and we don't much fancy leaving the house.
Designed to "make everyday life better" and give users the chance to "enjoy the moment, have peace of mind, and connect with loved ones", Amazon's latest exciting tech release includes a new generation of Echo and Echo Dot devices, along with Echo Show and the all-new Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick Lite.
The good news is, there's not long to wait for your updated smart home set-up, with new products being rolled out from the end of this month through to November and available to pre-order right now.
Oh, and the new devices are also made with recycled materials and include a low power mode. Sir David Attenborough would be pleased.
You can get your hands on the 4th Gen Echo (£89.99) and Echo Dot (£49.99) – available in charcoal, glacier white, and twilight blue – as early as next month, while the brand new Echo Dot with clock and LED display will be released a few weeks later.
The Echo Show, billed by Amazon as a "complete re-imagination of Alexa with a screen", has also been announced. Tipped to up your video call game to the next level with its 10-inch display, Show 10 will go on sale for £239.99.
For those not in the market for a new smart speaker, Amazon also confirmed the release of the updated Fire TV Stick for £39.99 and the new Fire TV Stick Lite for a tenner less. The Fire Stick Lite offers a similar service to its big brother, but its Alexa Voice Remote does not have power or volume buttons.
