A bona fide blockbuster arrives on Amazon Prime Video this month, as Chris Pratt battles aliens in time-hopping sci-fi The Tomorrow War. Chris McKay's movie was a huge purchase for Amazon, which shelled out around $200m (£144m) to score the rights from Paramount, who had delayed the film's release due to the pandemic.
Elsewhere, there's some great archive content, headlined by all four of the Indiana Jones movies and Damien Chazelle's woozy, romantic musical La La Land.
There's also an Annabelle movie, for those who want to spend their summer being utterly terrified in the dark.

New movies coming to Amazon Prime Video in July
Chris Pratt has squared off against Thanos, genetically-enhanced dinosaurs and all manner of beasties in his blockbuster roles to date, but the alien creatures in The Tomorrow War might be the most terrifying he has faced yet. Pratt plays a military man turned science teacher who is conscripted to travel forward in time in order to defend the human race against vicious, invading extra-terrestrials. Yvonne Strahovski, Sam Richardson and a bearded JK Simmons are also in the cast.
Horizon Line (14 July)
In this tense thriller, Get Out star Allison Williams plays a woman who is trapped on a small plane with her ex-boyfriend (Alexander Dreymon). That'd be bad enough were it not for the fact that the pilot has suffered a heart attack and the duo need to join forces in order to fly the plane to safety. Swedish director Mikael Marcimain is the man behind the camera.
Toofaan (16 July)
The underdog sports story is as old as the hills and a staple of American cinema — especially when the sport in question is boxing. Toofaan changes the setting to India, with Farhan Akhtar playing an orphan boy from Mumbai who rises from a criminal role on the streets to life-changing success in the ring after meeting a young woman.
Jolt (23 July)
Kate Beckinsale leads this unusual thriller, which has an intriguing central concept. She plays Lindy, who suffers from a strange neurological disorder which prompts her to experience angry, murderous feelings until she shocks herself with a special device.
She finds love despite her condition, only for him to turn up dead — prompting a violent quest for revenge. Stanley Tucci, Bobby Cannavale and Laverne Cox also star.
