WORLD-RATED ArAr Andales, promising prospect Justine Darap and former UFC fighter Jenel Lausa have been added to the Jaro International Promotion and 5 Stars Entertainment and Promotions Inc. show on Aug. 5 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The 22-year-old Andales is keeping himself busy in a six-rounder against club fighter Bonjun Loperez in one of the undercard bouts.

Andales is closing in on a world title shot and is currently ranked No. 9 by the World Boxing Organization. He’s also ranked No. 27 by the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Andales is coming off a majority draw with Joey Canoy last April 9 in Laguna.

Loperez is a very experienced boxer who has fought the likes of former world champion Rene Mark Cuarto, John Zulueta and Christian Araneta. He dropped his last five contests.

Andales is 13-2-1 with five knockouts, while Loperez is 12-16-1 with six knockouts.

Darap (8-2, 6 KOs), in the meantime, faces off with Vincent Bautisa (5-19-4, 1 KO) in a six-rounder, while Lausa (10-0-1, 6 KOs) slugs it out with Michael Escobia (12-21-1, 3 KOs).

Darap split his last two matches—a unanimous decision loss to Uzbek Yelshat Nikhemttoll and a first round knockout win over Nicardo Calamba.

Lausa fought in the UFC from 2016 to 2018. He went 1-3 in MMA’s biggest stage. After his UFC stint, Lausa continued to fight in MMA but also fought in boxing at the same time.

The main event features an exciting bout between former world title challenger Eduard Heno (14-1-5, 5 KOs) and Cebu-based Renoel Pael (23-11-1, 12 KOs).

Ex-WBC flyweight titleholder Sonny Boy Jaro (45-15-5, 32 KOs) makes his ring return against unbeaten prospect RV Deniega (6-0, 3 KOs) in the co-main feature.
