Ange Kouame in, Thirdy Ravena out as Gilas finalizes roster vs. Jordan

Naturalized player Ange Kouame will don the Gilas jersey once again as the Philippine national men’s basketball team takes on Jordan in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers at the Prince Hamza Hall in Amman on Friday.

Tip-off is at 12 midnight, with the Kouame joining forces with 7-foot-3 center Kai Sotto to man the shaded lane for the Gilas. Gilas head coach Chot Reyes opted to go for size in the match against Jordan, deciding to go with the Ateneo big man over San-En wingman Thirdy Ravena.

The other members of the 12-man roster are B.League standouts Bobby Ray Parks and Dwight Ramos, Ginebra’s Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, and Jamie Malonzo, TNT's Roger Pogoy, Poy Erram, and Calvin Oftana, San Miguel's CJ Perez, and La Salle rookie Kevin Quiambao.
