Angel Mary, TSO remain unbeaten in Duterte Cup

Angel Mary Pawnshop and TSO bested their respective opponents to stay unbeaten and on top of Bracket B in the Duterte Cup basketball tournament last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym.

TSO routed Pardo, 75-61, as Jade Labaya exploded for 20 points and six rebounds. Angel Mary Pawnshop also beat Eastern Star Shipping, 68-62, with Wilson Gabucan tallying 24 points and five boards. Both Angel Mary Pawnshop and TSO hold similar 2-0 win-loss records in Bracket B.

In other games, Wheeltek got their second win in as many games with a 70-62 victory over the Walkers. Junwilmar Isok tallied 29 points in that game to help Wheeltek get the win and move to 2-0 in Bracket A.

Over in Bracket C, Kevlo and OneStopJersey continued their win streaks. Kevlo stopped CSIB, 66-47, while OneStopJersey edged OCCCI, 67-63. Bong Caballero led the way for OneSTOPJERSEY WITH 15 points and nine rebounds.

The Rasenta Builders routed the Ronald Oshoppee, 77-52, while HLT beat RLCM, 67-55. The Knights trampled over the Unicorns, 63-54, while Sampaguita crushed CODEV, 75-32.

The RDT trounced the Losing Streaks, 57-49, even as SMCCO nipped CIA, 70-56.
