Angelica Panganiban Waxes Romantic On Instagram

MANILA, Philippines - Angelica Panganiban may be elusive in interviews when it comes to questions related to John Lloyd Cruz, but it's apparent that her heart is in a happy place.

She recently posted an Instagram photo that shows two necklaces with puzzle piece pendants forming the statement, "You are the missing piece to my puzzle." It spawned hundreds of mixed reactions, with many netizens believing that she is alluding to John Lloyd.

There were those who are not in favor of the purported new pair. One netizen (@agcalcido) said, "JLC definitely knows how to make [a] lady fall in love...and most of the time, guys like this (sic)... are dangerous! @iamangelicap."

Nevertheless, many fans expressed their support for the award-winning actress-comedienne, pointing out that celebrities are also human beings who deserve happiness. Some defended Angelica from allegations that she moved on swiftly from her six-year relationship with TV host-actor Derek Ramsay.

"d naten alam kung kelan talaga cla nag break ni derek so wala tayong right na magsabe na ganun na ba talaga kadali maghanap ng iba," @mumaimeiley posted.

"ang love di mo alam kung kelan darating o kung kanino ka maiinlove. It doesn't matter kung kagaano o paano kayo nagkagustuhan.what matter most is kung masaya ba kayo.Bilang fans masaya ako para sa inyong dalawa.Hoping na sana magtagal kayo better yet sana kayo na nga ang magkatuluyan," @mrasmussen_, meanwhile, said.

Angelica, apparently, is too happy to even be affected by the criticisms.

"Pag masaya ang ibang tao.. Ang daming galit.. Ano yun? Inggit? :) have a happy monday!! Sana maging happy din kayo one day," she tweeted on Sept. 3.

When a netizen asked her if she's happy sans Derek in her life, the Kapamilya star exclaimed, "nang sobra sobra!!! :) ang sarap ipagsigawan! :)"

Although John Lloyd declined to expound on what he referred to as his "relationship" with Angelica on "The Buzz" last Sept. 2-saying it "deserves a better timing"-the actor nevertheless admitted that she's special.

"Ang tagal kong hindi naging ganito kasaya, ang tagal," he gushed.

Sought for comment regarding John Lloyd's terse yet profound declaration, Angelica told "The Buzz" in a separate interview, "Feeling ko ako si Sarah Geronimo sa 'A Very Special Love."'

The two arrived separately at the 6th Star Magic Ball held Sept. 1 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Footage from "The Buzz," however, showed John Lloyd and Angelica seated beside each other during the event, and left the ball hand in hand.
