Astronauts Discuss Thanksgiving Plans on Space Station

Astronauts revealed how they will be spending Thanksgiving on board the International Space Station, in a video released on November 24.

The members of NASA’s Expedition 66 said they had some crab bisque, roast turkey, candied yams, and some cherry cobbler ready for the big day.

The expedition’s flight engineer, Kayla Barron, said the team would be working during the holiday, but that they were planning “an awesome meal together.”

“I’m sure we’ll invite our cosmonaut colleagues to join us. It’ll be a very international Thanksgiving,” she added. Credit: International Space Station via Storyful
