It's official: Bella Poarch has admitted that she has a crush on Joshua Garcia.

In fact, they often message each other.

"My favorite Filipino actor right now is Joshua Garcia. Crush ko 'yun eh. Crush ko 'yun eh si Joshua. We message a lot. He already knows what I'm gonna say," the Filipino-American singer and TikTok star said in an interview with ABS-CBN.

Poarch had interacted with Garcia on TikTok previously, following which the two stars followed each other on Instagram, which had fans gushing and excited.

Previous cute interactions

Back in April, the 25-year-old Pangasinan native had posted a TikTok video in which she appeared to confess that she could not stop thinking about the Kapamilya star.

In her video, Poarch portrayed herself cooking but overlaid a clip of Garcia singing a cover of Adie’s Paraluman while playing the guitar. Garcia first posted the song cover on Valentine’s Day on TikTok, under which Poarch had then commented with a heart emoji.

Singer ba sya?✨,” wrote Poarch in the caption for that TikTok.

Garcia had commented on Bella’s video with a face with peeking eye emojis.

Bella replied with a face with a hand over mouth emoji.

New single

Poarch just released her third single, “Living Hell,” on Thursday (Aug 11). The song deals with her struggles with mental health, including PTSD.

The song is currently at No. 7 in YouTube's trending music videos as of August 16.

Poarch rose to online stardom for her 2020 TikTok videos in which she lip-synced to Millie B songs.

Her lip sync of Millie B's "M to the B" became the most-liked video on TikTok, with 58.9 million likes currently.

She released her debut single Build A B*tch in May 2021.

Poarch also told ABS-CBN in her latest interview that, growing up in the Philippines, she had been influenced by Filipino artists, including Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, Zack Tabudlo and ASAP.

"A lot of Sarah Geronimo, oh my gosh I love her and, of course, Lea Salonga, she is our queen. Both of them have so much influence with my music and hopefully one day I get to meet both of them because I am such a big fan," she said.
