VETERAN Mark Bernaldez looks to bounce back from a loss as he takes on Mexican Oscar Duarte in a 10-rounder on June 12 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Bernaldez, a former ALA Boy, wants to return to the winning column with a victory over Duarte.

The 28-year-old Bernaldez is coming off a third round stoppage in the hands of undefeated Andres Cortes on Nov. 5, 2021.

Bernaldez is 5-3 on American soil since starting his campaign there in 2019.

The 26-year-old Duarte, on the other hand, is currently on a hot streak and won his last seven bouts. He’s coming off a fifth round technical knockout of Fernando Cancino on April 3.

Duarte’s only career loss is a split decision against Adrian Estrella in 2019.

Bernaldez tipped the scales at 135.5 pounds, while Duarte weighed in at 136.4 pounds.

Bernaldez is 23-5 with 17 knockouts, while Duarte is 21-1-1 with 17 knockouts.
