The summer holidays have come and gone (almost), and for those who are preparing their children for their return to school or university, we have you covered.

It seems long gone are the days when back to school shopping simply meant stocking up on multicoloured gel pens and spending hours getting the glitziest wrapping paper to cover your school books in. Now, everything is centred on technology.

With essays due to be submitted electronically and PowerPoint presentations still a firm favourite, it makes sense our back to school shopping list includes laptops, tablets and even lightweight headphones.

You'll want to check the school's policy on tech brought from home, but these gadgets may also be helpful for completing homework (and making it seem less of a chore).

With sales on select Apple products across a range of retailers, including Currys PC World, Very, AO.com and John Lewis & Partners, you can save on the essentials come the start of the new term.

We have sifted through to find the best deals, so you don't have to.

All you have to do is attach it to your keys or gadgets and sync up to your smart phone to track your essentials.

You can also opt for "Precision Finding" mode, so if your AirTag is close enough it can lead you directly to your valuables. The "Find My" network helps to track down your props with the help of other people on their devices or "Lost Mode", which will mean you are alerted when it is detected in the network.
