We're a year into the pandemic, and while early lockdown trends like bread baking and Zoom trivia have lost their initial lustre, the popularity of indoor cycling has yet to waver.

With gyms and exercise studios still shut down in much of the country, fitness enthusiasts across Canada have turned their attention towards at-home stationary bikes. For anyone who's done their research, the name Peloton will likely ring a bell.

Peloton has become a runaway hit during the pandemic thanks to their live classes, built-in screens, and ergonomic designs. However, as Peloton models are priced between $2,495 and $3,295 (plus a $49 monthly membership fee), the exercise bikes come at a steep price.
