Forty personnel of the Manila City Jail Extension facility at Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig were relieved from their posts after a spot inspection revealed that several detainees were enjoying special privileges.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, acting on orders of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo, dismissed its personnel during the inspection.

The Yolanda-inspired film “Taklub” has won a special award at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
