Liza Marcos, wife of Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., was spotted on the street in Singapore on April 4 and thronged by excited Filipinos who wanted a photo with her.
Multiple posts on social media showed Marcos in Orchard Road, an upscale shopping district, outside the Wisma Atria mall, surrounded by women taking wefies with her.
One user wrote, "Pinagkaguluhan Atty. Liza Araneta Marcos sa Wisma."

Another person wrote, "Our first lady Mrs Liza Marcos in Singapore. Ngiting walang kaplastican at pakikipag yakapan na walang bahid ng pagkukunwari. Super open arms to everybody❤️❤️"
(Our first lady Mrs Liza Marcos in Singapore. No plastic smile and hugs without the stain of hypocrisy. Super open arms to everybody.)
Liza's husband, Bongbong, son of former president Marcos and former first lady Imelda Marcos, is currently running for president.
Some posts referred to Liza as the next first lady of the Philippines, although the elections will only take place on May 9.
Liza, a criminal lawyer and law professor, has mostly stayed out of the limelight during campaign hustings, but she and Vincent, one of the couple's sons, appeared in an interview with Boy Abunda last month.
24-year-old Vincent "Vinny" Marcos, Bongbong and Liza's youngest son, works as a software engineer in Singapore.
Despite Bongbong's late father's reputation as a brutal dictator who allegedly stole billions from state coffers, he is one of the frontrunners in the contest for the presidential seat alongside his main rival Vice President Leni Robredo.
