While some things feel like they've ground to a halt this year (our social lives, mainly) others have been on a constant wave of change. What are we referring to? Jennifer Lopez's hair.

After decades of owning long, glossy locks, Jlo appears to have discovered the joy of mussed-up texture, experimenting with a hairstyle we've been lovingly referring to as The Shag.

Other notable hair moments include Spice Girls space buns, crimped waves resembling a '90s aerobics instructor, and the wet bob that became the talk of the 2020 American Music Awards. She's been busy... or rather, her go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton has been busy.

Jlo's hairstyles are like our children; we love them all equally, and that includes the look she posted on Instagram over the weekend, which was a world away from the shaggy, effortless texture she's been experimenting with of late.

The singer posted a video of her dancing with her family to her new single In The Morning, and she looked stunning (as always). But despite the carefree moment she was capturing, her slicked-back bun was giving off serious headmistress vibes.

Not Miss Trunchbull or anything (Miss Trunchbull doesn't wear smoky bronze eyeshadow and dance like a goddess), but there was still something about her look that had us hiding our chewing gum under our tongues...

Don't be late for school In The Morning? Don't forget to hand your homework in in The Morning? We could go on, but we won't.
