THE Cebu Provincial Government inaugurated on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, Phase 1 of the Poblacion-Dalayday-San Antonio road concreting project.

The concreting cost the Province P11.9 million.

Residents from four mountain barangays can now use the newly concreted stretch of road.

On its Facebook page, the Cebu Provincial Government said what had previously been a dirt road had been used by residents of some six barangays in the southeastern town of Boljoon.

The ceremonial ribbon cutting of the newly concreted road was led by Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia who, on the same occasion, also led the groundbreaking for Phase 2 of the project.

This second phase of concreting on the same stretch of road will cost the Province P55.8 million.

Also present at the event were Rep. Wilfredo Caminero (Cebu, 2nd district), Provincial Board Member Edsel Galeos and town officials led by Boljoon Mayor Merlou Derama. (CTL, PR)
