Carbon groundbreaking set Wednesday; protest vs project continues

CLOSE to 100 rallyists from the Movement Against Privatization of Carbon Public Market protested in front of Cebu City Hall Tuesday afternoon, March 23, 2021.

Rallyists are protesting the joint against the joint venture agreement (JVA) between the Cebu City Government and Megawide Construction Corporation to develop the Carbon Public Market.

The protesters stressed that they are not against implementing improvements to the Carbon Public Market but they are opposed to it being privatized.
