Carcar City, Cebu offers working space for employees on work-from-home setup

THE Carcar City Government in southern Cebu has set up a temporary free co-working space for its residents on a work-from-home setup.

This is due to the lack of electricity in some barangays and internet connection in most barangays in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette (Rai), which devastated the city and other parts of Cebu on the evening of December 16, 2021.

The co-working space for work-from-home employees is open starting Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the New Carcar City Hall, the local government announced on its official Facebook page.

Work-from-home employees must bring their laptops and extension wire.

They are also required to present their proof of employment at the Office of Mayor.

Afterwards, they will be guided to the working space at the New Carcar City Hall. (KAL)
