The National Weather Service warned drivers of the risk of flooding in southwest Florida on Tuesday, September 21.
“Heavy rain from slow moving storms continue[s] to slowly drift off to the west this evening,” the NWS wrote on Twitter. “Minor flooding will remain possible, especially in parts of Hillsborough, Southern Manatee, NE Sarasota, and even portions of Pasco. If driving in these areas, turn around don’t drown!”
