Catherine Zeta-Jones: Prince Charles is saucy

Catherine Zeta-Jones has joked Britain's Prince Charles is "saucy".

The Welsh actress was honoured with a CBE Order of the British Empire in 2011, to recognise her services to the British film industry and charity.

The ceremony involved the Prince of Wales pinning the award on to the pretty brunette's lapel and she quipped his hands came a little close to her chest in the process.

"Check out his hands, I dunno. I love the royal family but he is being a little saucy," she laughed to US talk show host David Letterman, when she was shown a picture from the event.

"[Is that to do with the award?] I just think that it’s my breast actually."

The special honour marks the 43-year-old's amazing Hollywood success, which includes iconic films such as Chicago and Traffic.

However, the feisty star joked the award also grants her other privileges.

"I am a Commander of the British Empire," she smiled.

"And basically that entitles me to David Letterman getting on his knees every time I stand."

Catherine is married to fellow actor Michael Douglas and together they have children Dylan and Carys.

Michael starred alongside Sharon Stone in 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct and his wife admits their kids are eager to see the film.

"My kids are not interested in plots of films but they are desperate to see Sharon Stone and my husband…They are desperate. All the kids talk about my movies and their dad’s movies. One day the curtain will go up though," the actress said.
