Catmon logs new Covid-19 case

THE local government of Catmon recorded one new positive case for coronavirus on Monday, June 29, 2020.

On its Facebook page, Catmon recorded its 11th patient. A 54-year-old man residing in Barangay Catmondaan. He is an employee in Lapu-Lapu city.

Reports said the patient started showing symptoms on June 13. On June 24, he took a swab test and tested positive for the virus.

As of the moment he is currently under strict isolation. The LGU also started its contact tracing.

The LGU continues to remind residents to follow health protocols and strengthen their immune system in order to fight off any unwanted illnesses.

Catmon now has 11 Covid-19 positive cases, nine of which are active cases. One has recovered from the disease while one also passed away. (ANV/RDR)
