THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) will coordinate with public schools in monitoring the students following a stabbing incident involving members of rival street gangs.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilbert Parilla, deputy director for administration of CCPO, said the 15-year-old who was stabbed while walking toward home along the vicinity of Mabolo High School was a member of Crips, while his four attackers belonged to the rival group, Bloods.

Parilla was worried that the trouble between two rival gangs may escalate if not given attention.

Recently, a group of students from another school reportedly tried to attack a student of Regino Mercado High School in Barangay Pahina Central. (AYB, TPT)
