HALFWAY in the general community quarantine, coronavirus infections in Cebu City continue to rise, as well as patients who recovered from the disease.
On Sunday, health authorities recorded 138 new cases bringing the total confirmed cases to 2,756.
The CHD also recorded six new recoveries from Barangays Basak San Nicolas (one); Mambaling (two); and Cebu City Jail (two).
One death was also recorded from Barangay Camputhaw.
The 138 new Covid-19 cases are from Barangays Basak Pardo (six); Basak San Nicolas (four); Bonbon (one); Bulacao (six); Buhisan (three); Calamba (one); Camputhaw (nine); Capitol Site (four); Carreta (three);Day-as (one); Duljo (three); Ermita (two); Inayawan (six); Kalunasan (one); Kinasang-an (two); Labangon (two); Lahug (two); Lorega (four); Mabolo (one); Mambaling (three); Pahina Central (three); Pasil (one); Punta (two); Pardo (one); Quiot (one); Sambag 1 (33); Sambag 2 (five); San Roque (one); San Nicolas (one); Sto. Nino (two); Sawang Calero (two); Suba (two); Tejero (three); Tinago (six); Tisa (five); Toong (one); Zapatera (one); two from Cebu City Jail and there are other two who still have unverified address.
Cebu City now has 1,571 recoveries and 32 deaths. (JJL)
