Cebu City police vow to strictly implement ordinances for Bar exams

THE Cebu City Police Office has vowed to strictly implement all the city ordinances to secure the 2022 Bar examinations, which will be held on November 9, 13, 16 and 20 in at least two universities in the city.

Among those to be implemented are the prohibition of videoke, party, and installation of sound systems in areas near the venue of the exams.

Also prohibited is the honking of horns for vehicles passing by the University of San Carlos and University of Cebu from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilbert Parilla, deputy city director for administration, said violators will be issued a citation ticket by Cebu City Hall personnel.

Parilla appealed to the public to follow the rules as a way to support those who aspire to be lawyers. (AYB/LMY)
